一、英语中分句和句子的区别是什么
分句在句子中有着特殊的重要性。我们可以将以将分句定义为句子的一部分，且自身具有句子的形式（包含限定动词）
我们再考虑英语句子的基本结构模式，其主要成分是主语、谓语、宾语和补语。因此我们认为主语从句、宾语从句和表语从句与其它从句相比具有第一重要性，因为它们比其它从句更好地融入到了句子当中，同位语从句和定语从句就可以放在第二重要的位置，它们似乎游离在句子主体之外，但又与句子主体保持一种较近的距离，对句子主体中的名词进行限定修饰。与句子主体关系最为松散的就是状语从句了。这样我们根据从句与句子主体关系的远近做了以上的划分。我认为这种划分还是有必要的，最起码说使我们从另一个角度把分句问题看的更加清晰了。一般我们主要是从句法功能方面去做判断和分析，将从句分为名词性从句、形容词性从句和副词性从句，现在我们尝试从与主句的关系远近对分句作出划分，这样做有助于我们更为全面地了解分句的句法功用。
由多个分句构成的句子必有主句和从句之分，我们可不可以说主句传递了主要信息，而分句传递的是次要信息呢？我想这种说法是不够准确的，主句和从句的划分更多的是从结构上、形式上的划分，与实际表意并非完全吻合。如在句子It is true that he is very learned中，核心意思并非通过主句传达。因此我们在实际中，最好避免这种说法。就句子而言，整体句子才是我们考察的对象，要想了解整个句子所表达的含义，我们就得关注到句子的每一个组成部分的含义。因为句子的每个组成部分结合起来才能准确地传递这个句子整体所要表达的意思。从语义角度看，我们要把句子当做整体来处理，至于一个句子的主语或者其它部分是一个分句、短语或是单词已经不是那么重要了，我们看重的是它们实际上所传递的信息，即使是与句子的主体部分关系最为松散的状语从句，也要传递出相当重要的信息，我们一点也不敢轻视它们。
